ShotPlate was the last band shoot and live music event ( at MK11 Live Music Venue in Milton Keynes) I went to before the world changed last March 2020.

Shotplate are an electro-pop band from Milton Keynes, who I first discovered a couple of years ago whilst at a gig and fell in love with their upbeat and very fun song, Jennifer!

Since then, I have always looked forward to seeing them on stage and was stoked when they asked me to photograph their gig last February.

These lads were so much fun and even though they were probably a bundle of nerves and energy before going on stage, they were absolute champs while I followed them around and directed them as I took their promotional photos. With the little lighting and space we had, I don’t think we did a bad job!

I cannot wait to be able to go and watch live music again — it’s something I’ve really missed over the past year.
